Midland GXT5000

The Midland GXT5000 Handheld 2-Way radio is an excellent radio with a lot of user-friendly features. With a range of up to 36 miles this small, compact straightforward handheld device can be taken anywhere.

This is a professional quality radio designed to communicate using FRS and GMRS frequencies. The new radio supports 22 standard FRS/GMRS channels and 121 privacy codes. It has a selectable high/low power mode feature, silent operation and an out-of-range alert. The GXT5000 has an aluminum frame and is waterproof, shock and dust proof. Also included is a long life lithium-ion battery. The GXT-5000 is also submersible up 3.2 ft. Its rechargeable lithium-ion battery, swivel belt clip, desktop charger, AC wall adapter and owner's manual all comes together in a nice storage/travel case.
