5.8Ghz External Omni-Directional 12dB Antenna
The RL58O12 is a great combination of form and function. With 12dB of gain and a UV-stable fiberglass construction, this antenna is great for use in 802.11a wireless systems including point to multi-point systems, wireless broadband systems, 5.8Ghz Mesh networks and as also a base station hotspot antenna.
With a rugged lightweight waterproof construction and all stainless teel mounting brackets, the ability to withstand wind speed of up to 125mph, the RL58O12 is able to withstand the elements and still perform with great results. The antennas are also vented at the base to prevent any moisture build-up inside and are DC grounded for lightning protection.
The horizontal pattern is a full 360 degrees with gain flatness better than 1dB. Because of it’s slimline design and low wind loading characteristics, multiple antennas can be used on a single enclosure, enabling multi antenna diversity and MIMO technologies used in many modern mesh networking systems.
