KA1121 AM/FM/SW Receiver
The Kaito 1121 is an awesome combination for the radio enthusiast, to say the least. With full coverage shortwave from 3 MHz to 30 MHz, high sensitivity AM receiver as well as other standard radio bands, you can listen to your favorite shows, or record them and take them with you on the portable, detachable MP3 player.
The Kaito 1121 is a PLL crystal synthesized world receiver. It covers FM stereo, as well as AM, Shortwave, Long Wave, 7 NOAA weather bands with dual conversion technology and has a detachable mp3 player/recorder.
This portable receiver can be powered by 3 rechargable Ni-MH AA batteries or an included DC power adapter, and has increased sensitivity on FM (with stereo or mono selctable) AM, SW and 7 NOAA weather stations. It also has SSB (single-side-band) fine tuning on the SW(shortwave) frequencies (3.00 - 29.99 MHz) and Local, Normal, and DX sensitivity settings for all bands. It also includes FM mono and stereo modes and AM wide band and narrow band selectable.
MP3 digital music player (included) supports MP3 and WMA file formats and has 256 Mb of storage that can be used to record up to 10 hours of audio from an external microphone (via 1/8" line-in jack) or 'off the air' direct FM recording. The player has a USB 2.0 port (can be used with included USB cable) to load music directly from your PC and also be used as an interface to edit station numbers and frequencies on the radio itself. The player is also removable and can be used as a stand-alone digital music device.
