Satellit 800 Shortwave Receiver

Following the Grundig tradition of excellence in sound and design, the Satellit 800 is the flagship of their product line.

This is a solid receiver, which is used for serious shortwave listening, however, the controls and functions are so easy to use, it's an excellent radio for all skill levels.

The large, stout telescopic whip antenna extends to an incredible 56-3/4 inches, making it very sensitive for shortwave and FM reception.

AGC - Automatic Gain Control. The onboard microprocessor monitors signal strength and adjusts it up or down to compensate for atmospheric and other conditions.
Excellent sensitivity and selectivity - The Satellit 800 Millennium receives stations most radios can not, including weak daytime shortwave signals.
Three built-in bandwidths, using electronically switched IF filters: 6.0, 4.0, 2.3 kHz.
Tuning - Direct keypad digital tuning and a large traditional Tuning knob allow you to scan the bands and hear everything out there.
Large illuminated 6" by 3.5" multifunction LCD.
