Let's face it, if you are looking for internet connection on the road, you need power and lots of it. Look at the specifications and you will find that the receiver noise floor is capable of -96dBm for 802.11b @ 1MBPS and you will also find out that the maximum power output is 300mW, thats A LOT of power considering that this is a notebook card!!! This equates to up to 15x times the range of a standard integrated wireless card.

The Mobile 7 Mag Mount Antenna comes with a very strong magnetic base to hold a high gain 7.7 dB antenna down without the need for the mounting hardware usually used with external wifi antennas.
