802.11N/MIMO technology has been available for many years, but only recently has been standardized. In response to demand for an adapter that complies with the new IEEE standard, RadioLabs has developed the WAVE -N-. This latest incarnation of the popular Wave series has more power, better receive sensitivity and a longer capable range than other 802.11N/MIMO devices available on the consumer market.
The new WAVE -N- is a completely self sufficient USB adapter that is completely powered off the USB port on your computer. No amplifier, antenna or additional equipment necessary, it's already built-in. The anodized CNC aluminum chassis is designed for those who need a rugged, all-in-one, long range WiFi adapter that exceeds expectations.
The IEEE 802.11N standard is a new wireless protocol that has been available, in one form or another, for a few years. However, the standard was not put into place until recent months. This new protocols allows for blazing speeds of up to 300 Mbps!
Extremely simple to connect - All you have to do is attach the antennas to the Wave N and run the cord into your computers USB port. It is an ideal mobile adapter for everyone on the go!
This Adapter will work at high speed, with any USB computer port! The Wave N will operate on any computer running Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP/VISTA/7, and Linux OS. The antenna is powered by and operates solely off the power supplied by the USB, so you do not need any other power connections.
Our powerful wireless board, combined with dual external 360 degree antennas can expand the connection of your laptop. You will be able to locate networks that were never there before and connect at incredible speed.
