Description
O2Breeze – High Power WiFi Router – Bridge – AP
The o2Breeze, high power, 1-watt router from RadioLabs, is remarkable in the fact that this simple N Speed router, has tremendous capabilities. We originally end of life this router, but due to popular demand from our customers on it’s sheer reliability, ultra sensitive receiver, excellent signal strength and saturation of any home or business, and stable operating system, RadioLabs has brought this router back to life again.
The o2Breeze, 802.11 B/G/N high power WiFi router is back, primarily due to customer demand. This router, provides excellent output power, extremely good range, rugged design and has been used by NASA for special projects, including ultra-high reliability where failure in certain circumstances is not an option. Our router, is primary control, with single output antenna, and controls networking in zero failure applications. Our o2Wind, is the same platform, however it provides you with a POWERFUL, 802.11N, 300mbps, MiMo WiFi signal, and the same ultra-long-range WiFi signal. The most popular WiFi band, (2.4 GHz) will only provide you with a total of 300mbps. Nothing faster is possible until you go to our Fastest 802.11 AC, high power, long range router, the o2Air-AC.
How to get more Range out of a WiFi Router
Many routers on the market, show blazing fast speed, but have almost no range. Marketing companies for router manufacturers, boast about impossible to achieve speeds, multiple antennas and fancy chassis, but fail to provide long range coverage. Routers we have tested for long range internet use, fail to achieve higher speeds at more than 100 feet from the competitor’s routers.
RadioLabs takes the opposite approach, and uses stable technology, with powerful amplifiers and excellent, high sensitivity receivers, to provide long range, stable connection, and actually get internet in places you simply cannot get a signal. That’s what makes RadioLabs’ routers so popular.
What makes this router so unique?
This router, is literally in use today, in hundreds of high reliability devices, where failure is not an option. These high power output, highly sensitive o2Breeze routers, are literally in use by NASA as well as dozens of other government agencies, as well as numerous water, power, sewage plants, corporations, and delicate infrastructure where not only a router is required, but a full toolbox of WiFi modes and high power are required.
A Complete WiFi / Wireless Toolkit in one Router
The o2Breeze, is our lastest version of this incredible versatile router. Having one antenna port, but still producing full 802.11 B/G/N capability, the o2Breeze can literally perform ANY WiFi operation, operate in any mode, completely re-configuring itself to function as any WiFi device. Our installers covet these routers, along with our o2Wind, high power, 1-watt routers, because it can perform any Wireless function in the field.
Router – The most basic mode – This is the default mode, broadcasting WiFi and controlling your network. All advanced features and routing are enabled.
Access Point – In this mode, the routing is shut off, and the router simply acts as a high power, long range, 1-watt access point. We have used this operational mode in thousands of bridge systems throughout the years. The same routers RadioLabs sold a decade ago, are still operating today and they are used in high demand applications for WiFi access in point to point bridge applications.
When it comes to long range, high power WiFi routers, the RadioLabs o2Breeze has incredible broadcast sensitivity and range. This is a single band, single antenna output router, which focuses on giving you the longest range possible out of a WiFi router.
In the world of routers, the trend is Speed.. but with faster speed routers, the range decreases tremendously. When you double the speed of a router, you simultaneously decrease the range by 4x.
Many customers are tricked into purchasing routers based on the speed or bands, sometimes being fooled by what we call “Marketing Bits”.. the industry’s strategy to make you think that faster WiFi speeds equates to better range, when in fact the opposite is true.
The O2Breeze is the latest in our O2 line of high power 802.11 WiFi routers. Providing 1 Watt (1000 milliwatts!) of RF output power, this unit is the highest output router legally available. If you need a high power N-Speed router with lots of coverage, this is the perfect networking unit for you.
With our already extensive line-up of high power routers, the O2Breeze is no exception to the rule when it comes to performance and reliability. With 802.11 b/g/n speed capability of up to 150 mbps, it’s exactly that, a breeze.

Test Drive RadioLabs 1-Watt Router Firmware – (Note: This is an older copy from a few years back, but gives you a feel for our router’s capability)
Click here to test drive our router’s firmware. Note: This is an older version of online test-drive and we have since added many more functions and a flawless user interface.
(this does not show the advanced WAN routing function, or the multiple SSID mode of the O2Breeze router).
The O2Breeze features a single external RPSMA-Female connector, creating an ease of access for upgrading to a high-gain Omni-Directional or Directional antenna. The ability to upgrade your antenna will allow you to broadcast your wireless signal for those demanding situations where you need to extend your distance and signal power.
With our custom RadioLabs web based configuration utility, setup has never been easier! Added functionality allows the O2Breeze to operate as a Wireless Access Point, WDS Bridge Unit*, Gateway, Ethernet Client and a Universal Repeater. The O2Breeze is more than capable of handling any configuration you throw at it.
The advanced network security (WPA, WPA2, WEP) and encryption (TKIP, AES), your network will be locked down tighter than ever before. We are very excited to bring you the incredibly versatile and reliable, O2Breeze.
With 1000 milliwatts of transmit power, the O2Breeze can cover up to a half mile radius (see features).
The O2Breeze has an extremely high power output. Under no circumstances should any signal amplifier be used to augment the power output of the O2Breeze.
