The FusionAX kit contains a Very Powerful, “Smart Antenna” with an Advanced, Embedded Wi-Fi Radio. It is Durable and Weather-Proof and rain or snow will not affect it when mounted properly. This Antenna, installs on the outside of only the Building you need to get internet into. (This is significantly easier than mounting a wireless bridge on both buildings) Aim the antenna, as Direct and Line of Sight as possible, at your Home Router, or WiFi Internet Source.

Next, Our purpose built, Dual Band AX1800 Router, provides ultra-reliable internet local, inside of the building you want internet in, plus, provides Power through one Port, to send both Data and Power to the antenna outside. Simple Setup, to get WiFi into ANY Building, Instantly!

• 1. Mount the antenna: Install the FusionAX outside antenna on the building you need Internet in.
  2. Run the cable: Connect the CAT5e cable (Included) from the Antenna, to the Router (One-Wire Install)
  3. Plug in the router: Connect the cable to the FusionAX Antenna, into the router’s POE LAN Port inside the building.
  4. Power on: Plug the Included AC Adapter into the Router. The router will automatically power up the system.
  5. Connect to the router: Use any device (ie a laptop, smartphone) to connect to the FusionAX router’s WiFi signal.

The FusionAX kit, is the most Powerful, WiFi Kit in the industry. It is directional, powerful and sensitive enough, that it can penetrate right through the siding on your home, direct to your Home router, sniffing out even the weakest signal and linking to it! This is not a Full Point to Point Bridge System, which requires more installation, and then our customers would have to drill a hole through Both buildings, run cables through the wall of your home and creates additional hassles for the customer. Not us! Most Typical Home Routers are weak, but are just powerful enough to allow the signal to penetrate through the walls of your house, or through Windows and our FusionAX system will connect to it. If you have metal siding on your house, that’s a different story. You will possibly need our full ZipBridge Wireless Bridge Kit. or other system, for distances over 250-300 ft. We have had reports, of customers using the FusionAX kit, to connect to their Wireless Network, over 2,250 ft away, but this isn’t recommended for typical installations. Ranges of 500-800 ft are most common, as the limitation is the customer’s existing, low-powered Router. But, you can’t go wrong with the kit, as it can easily be extended far past that, by simply adding one of our Outdoor Access Points in rare circumstances

Our original “Extend WiFi” kit, had such amazing sales and customer satisfaction with performance, ease of use, almost non-existent return rate because it simply worked as we advertised it, we now designed a system with twice the power, twice the bandwidth, and extremely simple for the home owner or business to deploy, and instantly connect any out-building or structure with fast, reliable internet, in the lowest amount of time. Plus, it’s actually fun to install!

How Powerful is the FusionAX WiFi System?

The biggest question we get asked, is how powerful is the system? Will it get internet into my shop or detached garage?
Here, we use the FusionAX for business! The Main Internet Signal, as I’m writing this article, is 750 ft away, through 7 walls and a stainless steel refrigerator, with a few obstructions in the path. There, it’s connecting to our original o2Air-AC router, sitting next to the internet source. Here at RadioLabs, we’ve been using this kit, to provide a seamless, full time Internet to our Engineering department, for development and long-term testing prior to offering it to our customers. Our kit, is linked to a small WiFi Router, over 600 feet away, and our link is strong, fast and extremely stable!

Limitations to the FusionAX WiFi System:

Since we are supplying our customers with one half or our wireless bridge system, this kit generally works for 99% of nearby situations, between 100 and 1500 feet and with at least a few of our customers, using one of our high power WiFi routers at the primary (home) location, using this kit to connect at over 1 mile. This system is as powerful as it gets when it comes to WiFi, and it is 1/2 of our long range, 5 mile bridge kits. RadioLabs is only supplying you with the remote building side of this kit, so we only know the specifications of the half we supply. In certain circumstances, customers have installed or tried to use this kit in circumstances where they were not able to get a connection to their home router:

1. 1. Distances over 1000 feet – where large trees, buildings or obstructions block the bridge path. Our High Power Antenna will penetrate the trees or obstructions (excluding metal, more on that later) but the customer’s Home Router or WiFi Source, is significantly weaker than our high power Antenna/Radio. In rare cases, you may need the other half of our bridge system, called the ZipAP, which turns the FusionAX kit, into a full point to point bridge. Final cost of adding this, is essentially the same as buying the bridge. So, it’s a Win/Win, just to purchase the FusionAX kit to begin with! You can add-on later!
   2. Metal buildings – This kit, is designed to  install on the remote building you need Internet in. The FusionAX Kit, cannot penetrate or make up for your router’s inability to transmit out of Metal, or steel siding, Stucco, or walls which contain metal in them at the source or Home router. If you have metal walls on your remote building, it will not matter. In fact, the FusionAX kit tends to work better, when it’s installed on a steel building, as our router inside, is isolated from our router better and less interference is created.
      However, metal siding on the home or structure where there is metal siding of any type, will stop the signal of your home router, plus our kit. Metal is WiFi’s worst enemy. In this case, even at shorter distances, you will need our complete Point to Point Wireless Bridge Kit. As mentioned above, purchasing the FusionAX to test, is not a bad idea. You’d be absolutely shocked at how far our kit can go. You can always add the other half of the bridge later! 
   3. Trees and Obstructions – RadioLabs has sold a tremendous amount of the FusionAX kits. We are confident that any home-owners’ buildings within a few hundred feet, will work and connect easily to their home router. However, in certain circumstances, there is simply no signal path. If you do not have a clear signal path, you will need the other half of the bridge. In North Carolina, as of this writing, we have been using the FusionAX kit, connecting directly to another router 700 ft away, for 4 months straight, into several buildings, since this kit has been developed. Currently, we have a couple hundred kits in the market, and our customer feedback has been excellent!
      Distances out past 1000 ft, or, with obstructions like dense branches, or incredibly weak internet sources have been minimized.
